Ella reaching new heights

VLUK learner, Ella Thompstone at our Joe Gallagher Boxing Academy campus, has had an amazingly successful season this side of the Christmas break! On Sunday 4th December at Leigh Leisure Centre, she won the England Boxing Winter Womens Box Cup, Youth Class A, Under 63kg, beating Louise Edwards from Leigh by a 4-1 split decision. 

Ella then went on to win the National Association of Boys and Girls Club on Saturday the 10th she won the Youth Class C, Under 63kg beating Alex Bryant from Trowbridge. 

Tutor, Elliot Dillon recently said "Ella is an outstanding student athlete who represents the Academy extremely well".

We wish Ella all the luck in her education and competitions for 2023.
