Jordan Booth

The Football College

Jordan came through the College programme where he started his coaching journey working with the young goalkeepers.

Jordan has since gone on to start his own coaching company where he delivers 1 to 1 coaching sessions. Jordan also coaches the goalkeepers for a local semi professional club and works closely with the Bury FC Community Trust.

Jordan holds his Level 2 in both outfield and goalkeeping, he has recently been accepted onto his UEFA B.


Kevin Arnold

Tranmere Rovers

Kevin came to UCS having completed his level 3 Sport qualifications and after a couple of years of voluntary and part time coaching whilst working full time at Tesco.

He decided to come on the HND in order to improve his options and gain valuable work experience whilst studying higher education.

Whist on the programme he gained a part time job coaching for a Football Coaching Company. It was whilst working for this organisation that he realised he wanted to do this full time and for himself.

He has now set up his own Coaching Company to deliver PE and sport in schools with his first schools contract already in the bag, and another 4 schools lined up for September 2019.

Alongside this, he as also being given the opportunity to be the first team coach for Tranmere Rovers Futsal team, allowing him to work with adults in a national league.


Max Parry

Forest Sports Education

Max joined Forest Sports Education in 2014 on the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport. On completion, he progressed onto the Higher National Diploma in Sport.

Whilst on the course, Max gained a role with ProStars Coaching as a Senior Coach and was responsible for delivering PPA and School Sports Premium PE lessons in Primary Schools to support the development of Primary School teachers with regards to Physical Education.

Max moved on to be responsible for organising ProStars’ hugely successful half term holiday camps and then on as a Performance Analysist at Gloucester Rugby. 

Max has also been nominated for his work with Forest Bulldogs Rugby League as Gloucester Under 21 Ambassador of the Year Award.

Habtamu Ayele

The Football College

Habtamu Ayele came through the college programme expressing an interest in coaching from the first year.

Having completed his Level 1 Coach whilst at college Habs has gone on to start his Level 2 during his first year of University.

Habs helps coach the Development 2 team gaining experience from the coaches at the college. He also works in schools for a local coaching company, doing lunchtime and after school activities.


Paul Chandler

The Football College

After a varied career path working in catering, call centres and banks, Paul decided he wanted to focus his career on something he loved. Helping children and adults with various disabilities get involved with sport.

Following many years of voluntary and ability football involvement with Bury Community Trust, Paul realised that in order to change his career path, he would need to take on some further education. 

Paul is currently studying the Coaching & Sports Development Higher National Diploma at The Football College with UCS. The course provides plenty of practical training through work in the community with children and adults who have a wide range of disabilities.

On successful completion of his HND, Paul is hoping to gain full-time employment working in the community with those with special needs and he feels that the HND will help him achieve this ambition.
